Job Description
- Develops, implements, manages and tracks effectiveness of an food safety management program
- Authorizes product release as it pertains to food safety, product registration, food watch handling and other legal compliance.
- Tracks completion of corrective action and verifies preventative actions
- Analyses activities outlined in the FSMS for completion, efficacy, and efficiency
- Internal audits, Directs and schedules customer, 3rd party, and regulatory audits. Interacts with regulatory personnel, food safety auditors, and customers to maintain positive and responsive relationships
- Investigates customer complaints
- Lead the Food Safety and HACCP team
- Conduct statistical analyses of food safety and quality data to assess compliance with related programs and
- Conducts hazard analyses and monitors quality measures to set the standard for quality assurance and handle PRPS
- Skills
- A bachelor’s or associate degree in Microbiology, Food technology or other bioscience
- Experience in the production industry
- Internal Audit, FSSC, FSMS and HACCP certification preferred
- Very detail oriented and strong multi-tasking skills
- Good writing, statistical, analytical, and critical thinking skills
