Job Description
Implementation Consultant
Objective:
Responsible for Implementation of Health Information Exchange (HIE) program as well as abetting the business-critical service to ensure that customers’ expectations are met.
Key Responsibilities:
– Creating a project plan for each client, detailing the tasks that need to be completed for the timely installation, configuration, integration of software systems, Lead the project from all its aspects
– Communicate target dates and to follow up deadlines to ensure timely provision of requested actions and information
– Monitoring and communicating with clients throughout the software customization and integration process in turn to meet the HIE requirements
– Ensuring that the project team is aware of key deliverables and project milestones
– Supervise the project progress and ensure meeting the deadlines
– Manage the project team and provide the needed guidance and monitoring
– Educating/ provide training to clients on how to use HIE systems and customized system features
– Deliver the needed trainings for the Client team on the HIE software
– Handle the coordination and communication with all involved stakeholders
– Be proactive and provide solutions to any arising obstacles.
– Take ownership and manage customers’ expectations
– Ensure that customers are kept fully informed of developments/progress relating to their issue to prevent further queries
– Ensure own compliance with quality procedures
– Make suggestions for improvements to enhance the customer’s experience.
Skills
Skills:
– Project management & Business Analysis
– Experience in a consulting role
– Healthcare industry
Experience with EMR systems such as Cerner, Epic, MEDITECH
– Good knowledge of HL7
Education:
– Bachelor’s degree in computer- or business-related discipline required (Master’s degree preferred)
– Healthcare domain expertise
Experience:
– Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant working experience
