Role Summary:
You are responsible for supervising field personnel, administering good construction safety practices and communicating effectively with all on-site activities ensuring that all our operations run smoothly and well-organized. You will deal with various construction activities and maintain good communication with supervision and project management teams.
What you will need to do:
Prepare environmental related project plans and documents (e.g. CEMP specialized sub plans), risk assessments, incident reports, inspection reports, Client weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, internal monthly reports etc.
Coordinate with third party consultants for implementing the environmental monitoring of the project as well as organizing environmental monitoring that can be done in house.
Perform regular inspections, and audits etc. to identify compliance including recommendations for corrective or preventive action where appropriate.
Coordinate with the Client for all relevant environmental requirements of the project.

Skills
What you will need to have:
A formal Tertiary Education (University/College) qualification in Environmental Management, Environmental Science, or an Environmental related subject
Minimum 5 years in marine related construction projects as an Environmental Supervisor/Manager
Strong experience in preparing environmental related project plans and documents (e.g. CEMP specialized subplans), risk assessments etc.
Familiarization with specialized environmental monitoring programs (e.g. sea water and sediment quality, surveys on corals, seagrasses, mangroves, migratory birds, turtles, marine mammals, real time water monitoring stations etc.)
Vast experience in coordinating with third party consultants for implementing the environmental monitoring of the project as well as organizing environmental monitoring that can be done in house
Experience in performing regular environmental inspections and audits
