Creating and updating high-impact solution collateral including:, presentations, application notes, whitepapers, demonstration tools, and best practices guides for network implementation
Act as a technical expert for the sales team on customer calls assisting with solution design and explanation of the product capabilities
Assist sales teams with preparing technical responses to RFPs and RFIs
Lead major customer pilots, proof of concepts and product demonstrations
Provide feedback from customers and field engineers to Product Managers
Write technical requirements that shape product roadmap and definition of key features.
Specific Knowledge/Skills
12+ years of technical experience with data networking, voice and wireless solutions. (hands on experience with mobility solutions from Cisco (4400/ 6500) , Motorola & Polycom is highly desirable)
Solid understanding of networking & security with practical skills for design and deployment
Solid networking skills (LANWAN design, network security)
Strong work ethic – self starter- motivated
Ability to quickly learn technology concepts and terminologies
Comfortable presenting to audiences at conferences/seminars
Strong communication skills (written and verbal). |

As a WLAN Technical Marketing Engineer, you will be a member of the WLAN Sales Enablement and Field Support team and will be a technical expert on Motorola’s Wireless LAN products. In this hands-on technical role you will be a key part of the team responsible for the WLAN solutions go-to-Market execution. You will work closely with product management, engineering, sales, channel partners, OEM partners, as well as customers and prospects.
