La Mosaique Restaurant Manager
Job Description
We require a great individual to join our team at the Crowne Plaza Bahrain as Restaurant Manager for the La Mosaique Restaurant:
The Restaurant is open 24 hours and has several different specialty nights to offer, we require an Arabic speaking manager who thinks on his / her feet and is not scared of a challenge, the person must be a good planner and have the energy and drive to actively improve our operations, he / she should have good training skills as well as a good people manager.

Job Description:
1.Direct all aspects of Restaurant operations.
2.Understand the vision, the brand standards, our goals and objectives we are striving to achieve and who our core competitors are.
3.Prepare and update standard operations manuals/policies and procedures for the department and all necessary tools to operate the department in an efficient manner, reaching the highest levels of standards and guest satisfaction.
4.Prepare and update training programs and manuals for all team members and implement accordingly.
5.Coordinate with the purchasing department any purchasing requests.
6.Ensure all new team members are well adapted to the environment and make them feel comfortable in the new surroundings.
7.IT/Micros POS and systems: all team members on operating three computer systems.
8. Assist in preparing and executing Food & Beverage promotions to maximize revenues.
9.Ensure the highest guest satisfaction and outstanding quality of service to all guest at all times, ensure standards are implemented, followed, reviewed and constantly trained.
10.Maintain high visibility during service periods, welcome and visit all guest tables during their visit, offer quality service for all guest to enrich the dining experience whilst also remaining discreet if necessary
11.Ensure Fire, Life and Safety policies are followed and implemented.
12.Forecast revenues and covers for the restaurant, plan rota’s and staffing accordingly and ensure maximum efficiency and financial profitability.
13.Manage par stocks, supply levels of operating equipment and order efficient and economically, control all equipment and materials in the restaurant.
14.Conduct daily communication meeting with staff prior to shift.
15.Chair monthly departmental meetings and training meetings.
16.Manage, coach, and counsel colleagues, including disciplinary procedures
Scheduling, recruitment and interviewing for new colleagues.
17.Communicate all group information/changes to existing information to appropriate hotel colleagues in an accurate and timely manner.
18.Ensures accuracy of all menus: current, correct, spelled correctly, clean and presentable.
19. Assists with check reconciliation with regards to voids, promos and discounted items.
20.Assures that checks are settled in an honest and accurate way.
21.Develops yearly budget as well as monthly forecasts.
Desired Profile
?2-5 years experience as a Restaurant Manager
?Excellent knowledge of food & beverage products and its preparation.
?Excellent communication skills, written and oral with proficiency in English and Arabic.
?Ability to work irregulars hours, late evenings and weekends when appropriate.
?Computer literate
?Experience in creating training concepts and execution of this, Micros knowledge and Microsoft Environment.
