Assesment and Development Assessor- Training
Job Description
To observe each applicant’s performance on the exercise and rate the applicant according to predetermined rating criteria and to assess relevant training needs for staff individuals and organization, in consultation with departmental heads, including assessment methods and measurement systems entailed.
Detailed Description
Monitor and control course• applications to ensure accuracy in applications
Provide feedback reports• with recommendations
Ensure timely payment of courses•
Complete• course registration on behalf of employees
File all related assessment• documentation such as registration forms, feedback forms and surveys
• Contribute to the design of each assessment & development centre which will involve agreeing competencies, selecting and modifying exercises, overseeing the preparation of assessor toolkits and all other material
Developing,• implementing and evaluating selection procedures, including psychometric tests, assessment centre exercises and structured interviews
Support the Centre• through the logistical setup
Potentially serve as a coach and mentor to• junior assessors, provide them with ongoing feedback on skills, abilities and observable behaviors
Run feedback sessions with candidates•
Arrange• meetings for the Department
Assess candidates’ ability and personality to• determine candidates’ suitability to given positions
Recommend training• plans based on the outcome of the assessment
Develop and implement a• standardization process supported by documentation for all stages of the assessment and development centre process
Ensure projects stay within• budget i.e. number of assessor appropriate for number of candidates; travel expenses kept to a minimum etc
Research training needs after assessment• feedback and surveys for the company to ensure training needs are fulfilled and to ensure high standards of performance
Prepare reports on feedback•
Desired Profile
Job Requirements
• Bachelor degree (preferably in HR, Psychology or other related fields) from a reputed university
• Professional Certification from a recognized institution such as the British Psychological Society Levels A & B Occupational Testing or equivalent
• Have a particular skill in Psychometric test and assessment centre design
• Must have outstanding interpersonal skills coupled with a resilient and flexible work ethic
