Position Vacant	Estimation Engineer
Job Description
Mission of Function Preparation of proposals and related technical/commercial documentation which may include supply of products and related services. Responsibility / Tasks 1- a) Study the project discriptions and specifications for required standards to fulfil the technical requirements; Conform to the latest edition of technical standards and check the RFQ specific requirements. b) Estimation of projects and preparation of basic technical offer or as called upon by the Client, while working in close coordination with the concerned sales. c) Develop a preliminary design concept and BOQ. d) Actualize cost calculation using the computer program prescribed in the work instruction. 2-Explore more competencies of price with sub-suppliers in order to prepare effective bids and become more competitive. 3-Coordinate with Sales so that the offers can be prepared with most possible dicounted prices or with viable alternate offers and options. 4-Provide technical clarifications raised by the Client, Sales Manager/Sales Engineer, and Project Manager/Project Engineer. 5-Co-ordinate with the Client and Sales Manager/Sales Engineer concerning the status of the offer. Follow-up of offers sent to the Client (if applicable). 6-Co-ordinate with internal partners to get their feedback about the economic and technical performance of the project in order to form a better guideline for calculation of future quotations. 7-Adherance of ISO procedures for proper and systematic documentation of all proposal. Experiences: 1-Professional Experience - Experienced in effective proposal preparation with strong background in products and its system application. 2-Project Experience - Minimum 5 years experience in estimation of projects and/or systems in similar nature of job. 3-Leadership Experience - Added advantage especially during project coordination with the Clients and internal partners. 4- Fluency in English; Basics in Arabic

Skills Product & Systems Standards Scheduling, Project Monitoring Quality system ISO 9001 PC programs like Excel, Word, Outlook e-business general Cost calculation process Education Diploma or Bachelor degree in relevant field; University degree in relevant field preferred
