Position Vacant Store Managers
Job Description
? Cultivate a culture of excellent customer service, leading by example on the sales floor. Deal with customer complaints effectively and promptly.
? Manage and control all the aspects of store operations to promote cost effectiveness and profitability.
? Direct, coach, support and delegate to the team, monitoring their performance to achieve store targets. Motivate the team and develop their potential and develop succession plans for the store.
? Identify training needs for store staff to ensure relevant/value added training needs are delivered with support of operation and HR.
? Ensure that company standards of housekeeping, grooming, presentation and professional conduct are maintained.
? Communicate effectively with the team, passing on all relevant information at the right time.
? Maximize sales promotion and brand activities through effective planning and preparation to meet sales targets.
? Constantly seek new opportunities to drive and create additional sales.
? Develop an annual strategy for the store to meet sales targets, develop the team and increase business in conjunction with the Brand/Operations Manager
? Ensure the store is merchandised commercially and visually to company standards
? Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of cash, floats and petty cash
? Manage the PoS system, including amendments, trouble shooting and error logging
? Analyse stock management information available to ensure sales opportunities are maximized.
? Ensure stock levels in store are maintained through monitoring stock and liaising with store planner for optimal replenishment
? Ensure goods received into and dispatched from store are checked and discrepancies are resolved.
? Manage stock takes in store in liaison with the Brand/Operations Manager.
? Ensure all company and legal policies and procedures are implemented and monitored in store
? Analyze available data use the reports to improve store performance, and provide recommendations and suggestions to the Brand Manager to enhance profitability and sales.
? Gather market intelligence and provide feedback to enable the Brand/Operations Manager to plan future strategies and action plans to stay ahead of competition, increase sales and capture a large share of the market.

Achieving sales targets (units per sales transaction in case of Mamas and Papas)
? Customer feedback/Mystery shopping report
? Timely and accurate Asset management (including stock and cash)
? Visual Merchandising standards.
? Compliance with policies and procedures
? Competent and motivated staff

Qualifications:

? Graduate with tertiary qualifications in Sales & Marketing or 5 to 6 years’ retail sales experience or in customer service roles.
? Computer literate
? Good command of English ; Knowledge of Arabic advantageous
? Professional appearance and demeanor
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
? Exposure to multi cultural working environments an advantage
