Job Description
Purpose of the roles:
The company is a dynamic organisation operating the emerging markets of carbon credit consulting and trading. The purpose of this role is to develop company into an organisation that can fully take advantage of this high growth niche sector. The successful candidate will be able to build an effective strategy for maximising market opportunities and deliver on this with successful team evolution and operational implementation.
Main Duties
Build a organisation in a dynamic emerging market•Full P•&L responsibility
Manage the finances of the organisation• throughout the above mentioned lines of business.
Build, manage and• motivate an effective team, manage their activities and resources in a way that deliver high performance
Manage existing collaborations with partner•
• Establish new collaborations with partner and governing bodies
Oversee the• establishment of governing policies, processes and procedures along lines of best practice
Deliver group strategy and effective implementation plans to• the board
Deliver regular status updates and updates on markets• opportunities to the board.
Desired Profile
Skill
University education's in relevant subjects with at least 15• years of business experience
Preferably relevant years of experience in• environmental businesses, carbon credit trading experience preferred
Post• graduate qualification (such as MBA) desired but not required
Proven and• established knowledge of carbon credit trading markets mechanisms
• Experience in carbon credit/ environmental consultanting
Business and/ or• corporate experience
