Job Purpose Statement:
Responsible for managing End User support (EUS ) and Network Operation (OND) Services Departments in accordance with Riyad Bank and ITD Strategic Plans, procedure and policies.. Manage EUS/NOD management risks, supervise department plans and coordination with EVP-ITD and Senior Management. Recommends upgrades and enhancments, keeps abreast of current and future methodologies for network infrastructure and end users support.
Lead EUS, NOD managers and resources to ensure Job Purpose Statement:
Responsible for managing End User support (EUS ) and Network Operation (OND) Services Departments in accordance with Riyad Bank and ITD Strategic Plans, procedure and policies.. Manage EUS/NOD management risks, supervise department plans and coordination with EVP-ITD and Senior Management. Recommends upgrades and enhancments, keeps abreast of current and future methodologies for network infrastructure and end users support.
Lead EUS, NOD managers and resources to ensure maximum cost/benefit delivery of services, projects and activites. Technical sign-off of major contract deliverables and as required RFP assessments for expasion and maintenance of the Bank network (LAN and WAN) infrastructure. Provide advisory counsel to bank’s management and projects committees on matters related to LAN/WAN implementation requirements; and, fulfill and support all Riyad Bank target objectives and strategic initiatives.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Ensure the availability of all EUS/NOD Services resources and successful delivery of requested services.
2. Plans for department's operational budget.
3. Review and approved the yearly objectives of EUS/NOD services department.
4. Reviews and approves any new/update procedures and policies related to EUS/NOD departments.
5. Reviews and approves all plans for EUS/NOD departments.
7. Coordinate with all "ITD/Vendors" Project Managers for the timely and efficient execution of EUS/NOD plans and projects tasks.

12. Direct strict adherence to Bank’s automation policies, procedures and contractual provisions.
13. Reviews the bank enterprise-wide LAN/WAN hardware and software acquisition and maintenance contracts, soliciting involvement and participation of other management & support team members as appropriate. Develops, when possible, the bank LAN/WAN master purchase or lease agreements for hardware, software, maintenance, and telecommunication related to LAN/WAN services.
14. Provide plan for LAN/WAN maintenance to minimize production disruptions and enables Bank to process within the required time frames.
15. Strategies, initiatives and improvement programs to assure area of responsibility EUS/ NOD are providing leading IT capability to help Bank achieve mission of being the leading Saudi Bank.
16. Development of department employees.
17. Maintain, manage, and execute all IT LAN/WAN process to meet Bank objectives and meet the Business pre-defined SLA’s.
18. Execute the necessary change and enhancement to LAN/WAN systems & environments to keep systems operational to meet Riyad Bank objectives.
19. The Job holder is obliged to abide by any instructions provided by his Manager with respect to the scope of work
.
Candidates should have over ten to fifteen year s of IT experience in bank and last five years as manager in Bank and with the following exposure
Knowledge: • Familiar with LAN/WAN hardware different platforms, network management tools, network protocols and technology.
• Familiar with end users support and network operation activities.
• Managing complex IT projects.
• Banking systems & Banking Applications.
• Suppliers and vendors IT services.
• Project and Program Management.
Candidates should have worked in similar position in Bank in managing networking specificatlly
Lan
Wan
and related services for over ten to fifteen year s of which last five years as manager
