Performs testing procedures on semi-finished and finished product, and reports results with reference to standard quality specifications. - Collect samples of flakes and pellets and test for compliance to standard specifications. - Perform the standard testing of work-in-process. - Follow up on steps operational checks. - Report on testing result to associates in charge and follow-up on corrective actions Report the malfunctioning of testing equipment, check the repairs and calibration - May be required to visit suppliers of raw material for inspection and testing. - Develop new or improved ways of preserving, processing, packaging, storing, and delivering foods, using knowledge of chemistry and microbiology. - Develop process standards and production specifications, safety and sanitary regulations, and waste management and water supply specifications. - Inspect processing areas to ensure compliance with government regulations and standards for sanitation, safety, quality, and waste management standards. |
